June 7, 2006.   The Eagle Flight has teamed up with Project RE-cell to do a cell phone recycling fundraiser. 100% of the proceeds will help us offer free flights to local youth.  You can help by donating any cell phones you have that you are not currently using. Your used cell phone(s) may be tax deductible and will be recycled in accordance with EPA regulations or refurbished. Please mail or drop off any cell phones you can donate.
We greatly appreciate your support!

 

May 21, 2006.   The Eagle Flight team announces that due increase in fuel prices and the to inability to secure enough funds to make the full Canada tour, we will retire the project for now, using the funds raised to provide local rides in the Treasure Valley throughout the summer- with a main emphasis on the June 17th Young Eagles Day event. Again, thank you to our primary sponsors that took the time to write a check and support this mission financially.

May 13, 2006. Brian Pope, the 1st passenger for the Eagle Flight, successfully completed his SOLO FLIGHT!  On May 13, 16 year old Brian flew a Cessna 172.- N3781L. Brian says “ its the most amazing feeling in the world!  I flew with only 10 hours under my belt!  Thanks for being a great role model  Jared. ”     Congratulations Brian! Clear Skies Ahead!

                                  

 

April 28, 2006.  Jared Aicher graduates from Utah Valley State College with his Bachelors degree in Aviation Sciences, Professional Pilot. Congratulations Jared!

The sweetest thing 

 

Jared successfully completed Phase I of the Eagle Flight project when he landed in Boise, Idaho on July 1st, 2005. The trip was an incredible success with over 100 children receiving free flights in 42 different states! Read more >>
