The Team

The sweetest thing

Pilots take no joy in walking.  Pilots like flying.  - Neil Armstrong

After flying more than 10,500 miles in 33 days, through 45 states and giving more than 100 individual free flights to young aviation enthusiasts, the Eagle Flight's Phase I journey came to a successful end when it landed 7 minutes early at 2:53 pm on July 1, 2005.

Work will begin immediately on next year's circumnavigation of the globe and details will be posted as they become available.  The plane has been secured for the world flight and the route finalized.  The route will be released this November and the aircraft for phase II will be unveiled next spring.

The entire Eagle Flight team would like to thank our sponsors, supporters and volunteers who helped make Phase I a reality and we look forward to working with you in the year ahead.

The Eagle Flight team has already started the production of the DVD documentary detailing the entire Phase I journey.  The documentary will be premiered at our fall fundraiser, Night for Flight II, scheduled for November 12, 2005 in Boise, Idaho. The documentary is being produced by Terrest Productions in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada and will be available for purchase during and after the premier.
