Meet the Eagle Flight crew!
Jared Arthur
Aicher, Pilot
The 34 year old Boise, Idaho native is
piloting his first circumnavigation of
the globe in an aircraft that has never
been flown around the world. He will be
the youngest pilot to have flown two
consecutive solo circumnavigation
missions when the Eagle Flight mission
is complete. He will graduate in April,
2006 from Utah Valley State College in
Orem, Utah, with a Bachelor of Science
in Aviation Science and is a member of
the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor
Society. Jared has been flying for 15
years and has flown more than 15 types
of aircraft.
Kerry Widmer,
Project Manager
31 year old Kerry Widmer, a Eugene,
Oregon native, has been working in the
non-profit field for over 7 years,
managing resident camps for youth,
developing and teaching 8 week courses
in classrooms and coordinating
volunteers. With a strong background in
business management and finance, she is
able to oversee all the various projects
for the Eagle Flight. Kerry currently
works as a Team Leader for DirecTV in
Boise.
Stacey
Commer, Media and Logistics specialist
35 year old Stacey Commer has been
working in radio and television
broadcasting for over 15 years. She is
currently employed as a news anchor in
Lloyd Minster, AB CANADA. Stacey also
works with Terrest Productions producing
aviation related DVD's and is also a
freelance author for several aviation
magazines around the world.
Terry
Allington, Multi-Media and DVD
production
Terry Allington has been working as a
television news photographer for the
past 10 years in Saskatoon, SK, Canada.
Throughout the years, he has worked on
productions for TSN and Sportsnet as
well as ESPN in the U.S. His interests
in video and aviation led to the
creation of Terrest Productions, an
experienced video production company
focused on aviation. His most recent
production was an Anniversary Edition
DVD celebrating 50 years of flight at 4
Wing, Cold Lake, Alberta CANADA. Terry
is proud to be a part of The Eagle
Flight Team.
Larry
Montoya, Native American Diplomat
Born and raised on the Hopi Indian
Reservation in Arizona, Larry made a
promise to himself early in life that he
would work to help Indian children and
in general all Indian people. After
spending 10 years in the US Marine
Corps, Larry served as a Job Placement
Specialist, assisting Native People to
find employment in the Southern
California area. Larry has also served
with Indian Child and Family Services (ICFS),
which was involved in placing Native
American Indian Children either in
Foster Homes and/or Adoptive Homes.
Larry currently lives in Southern
California with his wife, and volunteers
his time to assist the Eagle Flight team
as a coordinator for Young Eagle rides
for Native American youth.
